Everyone has a “Day One.” It could be for starting a new diet or workout routine, it could be the first day at a new job, anything. It is exciting because it’s a fresh start and a beginning to a new journey with the end result being unknown. Bolingbrook Park District offers numerous opportunities for toddlers, youth and adults to learn a new sport.
Our new youth sports program at Bolingbrook Park District is taking that exact approach.

Learn through drills and games including dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, offensive and defensive positioning, sportsmanship & fun!
Learn the fundamentals of soccer through drills and games including: dribbling, shooting, passing, rules of soccer, sportsmanship & fun!
Participants will learn the basics of soccer, t-ball, basketball, football, floor hockey, and more. Each class is different and will emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship & fun! Parent participation required for ages 2-3.
You love volleyball and you want your young one to experience the joy, your child wants to get better at basketball or looking for the sport that fits their ability? All sizes and abilities can adapt to volleyball with quality instruction. Your child will learn the game through drills and mini-games including development of bumping, setting, passing, serving, scoring, rules of the game, sportsmanship, & fun!

continues while promoting physical health. Participants will learn the fundamentals of football
through drills and mini-games including catching, passing, offensive and defensive positioning,
sportsmanship & fun!
Want to learn the basics and fundamentals of volleyball beyond just gym volleyball? Join us as we teach the “fun”damentals and foundation of being a future volleyball player. Calling all 5th-8th graders that want to learn from some of the best coaches. Join us, as we make learning fun!
*Please note that if you are registering for Sundays and Thursdays, times only show for one of the days.* This activity meets Sundays 1:30-2:30 pm and Thursdays 4:00pm-5:00 pm.
Have the basics of volleyball down and need some additional coaching and training to accelerate your skills for school or club? Hit harder, set better, jump higher, pass and serve more consistently, block more efficiently by learning advanced strategies of the game. This activity meets Sundays 3:15-4:45pm & Thursdays 4:45pm-6:15pm. Thursday sessions focus on skills and training and Sunday sessions focus on game scenarios.
*When registering for both Sundays and Thursdays, please make note that times are different each day.
Interested in improving your talent and skills on the court? Learn basic tactical decisions and skills needed to improve your game in doubles pickleball format. Learn how proper footwork improves your ability to make your returns consistently. Learn balance techniques to improve your agility on the court. Learn fundamentals for dinking mechanics, 3rd shot drops, resets, backhand and footwork. Practice serving and receiving strategies and learn proper court positioning. Learn the “X” pattern to determine who plays the ball in a rally. Work on fundamentals such as the split step, the ready position, shifting/pinching movement, transitioning from the baseline to the kitchen, lobs, stacking and more.
